Retail Media Platform (“we”, “us”, or “our”) is an educational directory operated by 1000961632 Ontario Inc. o/a ProOps Consulting, based in Ontario, Canada.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you visit www.retailmediaplatform.com and when you use the RMP Extension Chrome add-on.

1. Information We Collect (Website)

When you visit this website, we collect limited information in the following ways:

  • Information you provide – When you submit a platform via the contact form (name, email, company, and message content).
  • Automatically collected information – Basic technical data such as IP address, browser type, device type, and pages visited (via standard website analytics and hosting tools).

We do not collect payment information or sensitive personal data.

2. RMP Extension (Chrome)

This section applies to the RMP Extension Chrome add-on published by 1000961632 Ontario Inc. o/a ProOps Consulting.

What the extension accesses. RMP Extension may access only https://www.retailmediaplatform.com. It downloads the public Platforms, FAQs, News & Studies, and Resources pages so it can show that directory in Chrome’s side panel. It does not read other websites, the tab you currently have open, or form fields.

What is stored. A copy of the directory and a list of records you have already opened are saved in Chrome’s local extension storage on your computer. This is used for daily updates and for “new item” badges. It is not uploaded to ProOps or to Retail Media Platform.

What we do not collect through the extension. The extension does not create an account, does not use analytics, does not sell data, and does not access advertising or GAM credentials. Cookies and analytics described in this policy apply only when you visit this website in a normal browser tab, not to the extension itself.

Permissions used. The extension uses Chrome’s side panel, local storage, and a once-per-day alarm, plus host access limited to this website, solely to display and refresh the public directory.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to submissions and inquiries
  • Operate and improve the website
  • Keep the RMP Extension directory in sync with the public site
  • Monitor site performance and security
  • Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Cookies and Analytics

We use essential cookies and standard analytics tools (for example, those provided by our website host) to understand how the site is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings. The RMP Extension does not set cookies and does not run website analytics.
